Small pebble cove located in Santa Marina
Gueirúa beach is a small cove of pebbles that stands out above all for its beautiful landscape. At its eastern end, there is a row of sharp stone islets jutting out of the ocean, the remains of an ancient fractured point of quartz and slate. This area is called La Forcada, and divides Gueirúa from Calabón beach.
It is an unspoilt area, with few visitors and no services, although it is not particularly difficult to access. It is reached first by a path and then by a flight of steps. Located in the town of Santa Marina.
It is advisable to take extreme precautions when bathing, and to access and walk along the beach it is advisable to wear pebble-resistant footwear .
Ordinance for pets on the beach:
- The access and presence of animals on the beach is prohibited from 01/05 to 30/09.
- Pets are allowed on the promenades and urban promenades, in the areas near the beach accesses, provided that they are kept on a fixed leash of no more than one metre in length and, when necessary due to the characteristics of the animal, they must be muzzled.
