A tombolo joins the beach with the islet of El Rego.
Pormenande beach is a small cove of great beauty, less than 200 metres long and made up of pebbles and gravel. Despite being stony, it is very safe, with moderate waves and protected from the wind.
The El Rego islet stands out on the right, which can be accessed from the beach by a small tombolo. It is the main beach of the capital of the council, A Caridá, so it is more crowded than other beaches in the area.
It can be reached from the town of El Porto/Viavélez.
