Of the caves in the council of Morcín, the Abrigo de Entrefoces is perhaps the most striking.
This cave preserves a panel with the representation of two hinds and a horse, engraved in the Magdalenian period.
To the north of the shelter, the narrow AS231 road runs between two almost vertical limestone walls, very close to the river Riosa. To the east, the Manteca mountain range borders and dominates the view, to the south is the fertile plain of La Foz, and if we continue to the west, the watercourses of the Otura stream open up, the main area of agricultural use in this area.
Outside visits only. Difficult access.
It can be reached by the AS231 road, Peñamiel to La Foz.
Upper Palaeolithic
Very difficult access. Access via the AS-231 from Peñamiel to La Foz.
