Stage 7: Avilés - Muros de Nalón 21.2 Kms
Avilés: C/ Rivero, Bº de Sabugo, Plaza del Carbayo, Avda. de Alemania, cuesta de San Cristóbal and then arrive at Campo del Conde, at this point at the crossroads, turn left and then continue to the right along C/ Peñamayor and 200 m. before reaching a housing estate, go down a wooded path to the left indicated by a signpost to begin the route through the Council of Castrillón.
Cross a stream and continue along this path to La Plata, where there is an information and help point for pilgrims. Continue to Piedrasblancas on the AS-320, passing the Castrillón Council on the right until El Villar, turning off to the left onto the track that goes to the Sierra del Cordel, and through La Lloba, from where we descend to La Ventaniella (Santiagu'l Monte).
Continue west towards Soto del Barco and descend towards the road to L'Arena. Pay attention to the Camino signposts as there are many crossroads. We climb towards the hamlet of El Castillu and go to Soto to cross the bridge over the Nalón on the national road.
On the other bank take the road to Era (left of the N-632) and go up towards the capital of Muros de Nalón (Muros).
