Stage 3: Mieres del Camín - Oviedo/Uviéu 18.4 Kms

Past Mieres del Camín the route coincides with the AS-242 towards El Padrún and reaches La Pena, where there is a pilgrims' hostel in the old schools.

The route continues along the AS-242 towards La Rebollá, El Rollu, Copián and Aguilar. At El Padrún we leave the road and take a branch to Casares until we reach Olloniego/Lluniego, the first important village in the council of Oviedo, crossing a footbridge over the dual carriageway and the railway line. Cross Olloniego/Lluniego along the central street and continue along the road until you reach El Portalgo, cross the river and climb up along the base of the Arnea peak until you join the road to La Manzanea. Then, by road, towards La Venta l'Aire, Samiguel and Pontón de la Venta. Cross the valley of the river Gafo and take the road to La Manxoya and the district of San Lázaro/San Llázaro, the entrance to Oviedo/Uviéu, with the Cathedral of San Salvador and the Holy Chamber.
