We are dedicated to showing the fauna and nature of Asturias. We travel to the best places to observe birds and nature. We provide the necessary materials such as telescopes, binoculars or identification guides. We also include RC and accident insurance.
We carry out 4 activities in the area of Eastern Asturias:
- The Covadonga Lakes. They are located in the Picos de Europa National Park. In a visit made with our vehicles you can enjoy observing and learning about the fauna of this protected area, as well as the way of life of the shepherds who make the famous Gamonéu cheese and the relationship they have with the presence of many species of birds such as the bearded vulture, golden eagles, Egyptian vultures or griffon vultures. You have more information here
- Birding" descent of the river Sella. Our descent has nothing to do with the classic recreational descent of the river. We start a few kilometres lower than the rest of the companies and it is a different experience, with no other people, listening to the water and the different birds that inhabit the river. You can bring your camera and our binoculars to enjoy the experience; don't worry, they won't get wet, in some places we will keep them in the watertight cans that we will carry in the canoe. - Ponga Natural Park. This park, which has been declared a Biosphere Reserve in 2018, is one of the jewels of Asturias. Our activity consists of visiting the Beyos Gorge, where you can find some of the best deciduous forests in Asturias. We will be able to see hidden gorges with villages where hardly any people live, in complete harmony with the natural environment. We will be able to see griffon vultures, golden eagles or short-toed eagles. Click here if you are interested in knowing more
- The birds of the Villaviciosa Estuary. This natural area is a resting and feeding place for aquatic birds that migrate from northern Europe to warmer areas when winter approaches. It is at this time of year when the greatest variety and quantity of species can be enjoyed in the estuary, but throughout the year it is possible to observe many species of birds.
