Recreational area located in the village of Casarego, an area of great tourist interest.

The recreational area of Casariego allows us to enjoy nature and a variety of tourist resources (the palace of the Cancio family, the hermitage of Casariego, the Eucalitón, etc.).
Within the area is the fountain of the Virgen de la Encontrela, of which legend has it that the Virgin appeared in it, and since then it has been baptised as such.
We can also see a eucalyptus tree that was planted in 1870 and has become the most emblematic tree of the council.
