Molleda (Corvera de Asturias) - La Corrada (Soto del Barco) 25,2

This route starts in Molleda (Corvera de Asturias), in the old schools that have become the Tourist Interpretation Centre for this route and the rest of the routes in the council of Corvera de Asturias.

Almost two kilometres into the route, there are many forks and crossroads along the way. At the first fork, take the path on the right and continue straight on for about 400 metres, until you come to a group of houses which you have to cross by making a 90-degree turn to the left, going up the road.

At kilometre 3.10 there is a fork in the road where we must turn left towards the next village. The road we are on comes out onto the main road, which we must cross straight ahead and then, at the fork, behind the first line of houses on the main road, we must turn right.

About 800 metres further on, at the fork, turn left and, when you reach the AS-237 road, walk along it for about a kilometre in the direction of La Llaguna (to the left).

After about 5.2 kilometres, the road splits into two branches. Just before it splits, take a path that leads off to the right. About 400 metres further on, you will come to two forks in a row, about 100 metres apart. Turn right at both of them.

At kilometre 6.8 of the route, we reach the village of Orbón (Castrillón). Turn left as you enter the village, and when you reach the Orbón water tank (a colourfully painted hut with a water trough on its main façade), turn left and cross the next village.

On leaving this village, at approximately kilometre 7.3, there is a fork in the road, and we must continue straight on to go down towards the zigzagging farmland. Once you have reached them, cross them until you reach the CT-2 road. One kilometre further on you will reach Piarnu. When you reach the centre of the village, turn right to cross it and continue along a path heading northwest, which runs parallel to the Narcea canal.

Once the canal has crossed the road, more or less at kilometre 9.6 of the route, we must do the same a few metres further down to continue parallel to it until we cross a group of houses and reach the Castañalona aqueduct. We must go down the valley and reach a road where we turn left until we reach another group of houses and, once there, turn right to continue our route.

After another kilometre from the previous point, we reach the road, where we must turn left, and 200 metres further on, at the fork, we must take the path to the right.

After 11.6 kilometres from the start of the route, we reach a crossroads, where we must turn right towards Llodares and, once in the village, take the first street on the left to leave it. About 300 metres further on we come to another fork, where we take the left-hand branch, skirting the industrial building and continuing straight on at the next crossroads.

When we have walked some 13.2 kilometres, at this point we must continue along the path on our left until we join a road where we must also turn left. A little further on, at the fork, take the path on the right to reach the N-632 road.

A little before reaching this road, we must turn left to go parallel to it and the train tracks, passing by the El Monte station. Once past the station, cross the rails to take a path that crosses the forest and continue along this path, without turning off, until you reach La Ferrería.

After three and a half kilometres, we reach La Ferrería. Cross it by taking the road that goes off to the left until you reach a fork 300 metres further on and take the road to the right. A few metres further on, you will come to a fork in the road; take the path on the right, cross the group of houses and leave it by the road on the left until you reach La Corrada.

In the centre of the village, more or less at kilometre 18.2, take the road on the left, and 400 metres further on you will come to a crossroads. We must leave the road at the crossroads and cross the eucalyptus plantations until we reach La Teyera, which is 1,200 kilometres away.

Once in La Teyera, we cross it until we reach Riberas (Soto del Barco); we leave the village behind and come to the AS-16 road, along which we walk about 200 metres until we find an exit to the left on the SB-2 road.
Almost at the end of the route, at kilometre 23, there is another fork, where we should take the path on the right and then turn left as soon as we can. From here, walk 400 metres until the road splits in two, and take the road on the left, where you continue straight on.

After walking a kilometre and a few metres more, a path appears that will help us to finish the final stretch of the route.
