Farm tourism or agrotourism is an increasingly popular way of getting to know and enjoying the rural and natural environment.
Asturias has numerous projects that combine rural tourism with nature activities and other activities directly linked to farming and livestock farming, where you can experience in situ the daily chores of a traditional farm.
Feeding the animals, looking after them, learning how to make traditional products such as cider, cheese, desserts, etc., and all this seasoned with relaxation in an idyllic setting is a philosophy of healthy and educational leisure, ideal for families and groups with sensitivity towards the environment and all things natural.
We begin here a route through farms of very different styles but all with the common denominator of love for the rural environment!

In addition, the facilities are accessible for people with reduced mobility, and there is also a large car park.
Los Caserinos, cheese tradition in its DNA
Los Caserinos is much more than a cheese dairy. To begin with, the founding family of this brand carries in its DNA the livestock farming tradition inherited from their ancestors.
Located in the village of Grases, in Villaviciosa, it is a clear example of the heart of rural Asturias. That Asturias that early in the morning often smells of freshly milked milk, as it does in this farmhouse.
At Los Caserinos everything is truly homemade. If you want to see how cheese, rice pudding, organic yoghurt and even cider are made, you're in the right place.
But if you want to see happy cows and goats, you're also in the perfect place. You will spend an unforgettable day enjoying the native breeds that live in Los Caserinos.
Conlléu, a farm school specialising in indigenous breeds
Just as 'each master has his own book', each farm has its own speciality and its own very personal style when it comes to approaching the rural world and nature.
And in the case of the Granja Escuela Conlléu, located in the parish of Pernús, in the council of Colunga, since its beginnings back in 2005, it was born with the vocation of bringing the traditional to the youngest. They decided to specialise in the native Asturian breeds and are one of the few farms in the Principality that have specimens of all species: Gochu Asturcelta, Pita Pinta, Vaca Asturiana, Cabra Bermeya, Oveya Xalda and Asturcón.
