Cambaredo Beach in El Franco
Cambaredo beach is located in the council of El Franco, on the western coast of Asturias. It is an area of great ecological value and with a low number of visitors, which guarantees the necessary peace and quiet to go there with your pet.
In addition, the waves are usually moderate, which is also important to guarantee safety on a stroll or in those moments of relaxation.
Cambaredo is a narrow, long and stony beach, surrounded by high cliffs covered with pine trees. Access is via a staircase with 130 steps. Nearby there is a wonderful recreational area.

Salencia Cove in Cudillero
Salencia cove, in the council of Cudillero, forms part of the Protected Landscape of the Western Coast of Asturias. Located next to Lairín beach, it is accessible by car, although there is no car park, so it is best to leave your vehicle in the village of Novellana.
It is an unspoilt area, so it is advisable to wear shoes that are resistant to stones and rocks when walking along the cove, and you should be aware that there are no lifeguards, sea lifeguards or other services.
Although the swell is usually moderate, it is always advisable to take extreme precautions.
You and your pet will be in a truly privileged "pixueto" corner!
Playón de Bayas/El sablón in Castrillón
The Playón de Bayas, also known as El Sablón, located in the council of Castrillón, is the longest sandy area in the Principality, and at one of its ends it joins the beach of Los Quebrantos.
It is ideal for long walks, and in the western part of the beach there is an enclosed area where you can go with your pet. You can get there by the CT-6 road and there is parking, as well as a good path to get to the sandy area.
In addition, at its eastern end, you have an area known as Los Requexinos, of great natural beauty and frequented by nudists.

Beach of Cervigón/El rinconín in Gijón/Xixón
The Cervigón beach, also known as el Rinconín, in Gijón/Xixón, is the eastern corner of San Lorenzo beach. It is a small cove of sand and rock located at the end of the promenade, well equipped and always lively.
Formed by rocks and dark sand, it is a secluded and pleasant place, ideal for spending some time with your pet. You can also practise sports such as underwater fishing, surfing, bodyboarding, longboarding and paddlesurfing. In addition, the El Rinconín-La Ñora path begins in the vicinity , almost 10 kilometres long, suitable for hiking and cycle touring.

Quintana/Plumineru beach in Valdés
Quintana beach, also known as Plumineru, in the council of Valdés, is located in an area of great beauty and easy access. It forms part of the Protected Landscape of the Western Coast.
Long and narrow, and made up of boulders, it is easy to reach from the nearby village of Quintana, from which it takes its name.
This beach is nestled in an area of cliffs, and its fishing interest is remarkable. As for bathing, always take the necessary precautions, as it lacks services.
You will be in a very special place to relax with your pet!
Campiechos Beach in Valdés
Campiechos beach is located to the west of Cadavéu, in Valdés. Formed by pebbles and usually with strong waves, it is surrounded by rocks and has a rocky area that makes it an ideal place for fishing.
A narrow path allows access by car to a cetárea, next to which there is a small car park, and some buildings related to fishing. To go down to Campiechos, there is a ramp that leads down an 8-metre slope. It is in an isolated area and has no public transport, so it is not a very busy sandy area.
It is also part of the Protected Landscape of the West Coast, a truly peaceful place for you and your pet!
But as well as the beaches, there are plenty of leisure and recreational areas to enjoy with your dog.
