Info
The Bollu Festival, also known as La Peruyal, is celebrated in Arriondas/Les Arriondes, the capital of the Parres council.
This festival, which dates back to the first half of the 20th century, represents the essence of a traditional Asturian pilgrimage, where the typical Asturian atmosphere prevails and the bollu preñao (bread roll filled with chorizo) and cider bring a lively touch to the celebration.
The parade of floats is another distinctive feature of this festival, where joy overflows in every corner, including the historic neighborhood of La Peruyal, the epicenter of this celebration.
Moreover, it serves as the perfect prelude to the Piraguas Festival, which takes place a few days later.
