We set off from the village of Santibanes de Murias, from the recreational area next to La Calera, in the direction of the main road, and very soon we come to a track on the right where we have to turn off.
We continue along the path that leads us to the village of Vil.lar, from where we continue along the road, descending until we reach a fork where we have to turn right onto the main road. This takes us back to the main road, which we follow for a short distance, until we take the path on the right which leads us to the village of Murias. We leave this village through the upper part, continuing along a path that crosses the hillside without too much of a slope, soon arriving at Arnizo. From here, we begin a gentle climb that ends at La Vara, from where we descend to Los Corros. We continue until we reach El Cabanón and, without turning off the path, we continue until we reach the hamlets of El Carbayiru and then Güertomuro. We continue in a westerly direction and soon reach Les Fureres and El Pasaúriu. We continue on to Pedreo and, after crossing this village, the path takes us to Güeria. With hardly any gradient, we soon reach Moreda, the end point of the route.

Basic tips before going into the mountains
- Avoid approaching livestock.
- If you find mastiffs protecting livestock, do not approach them, do not pet them and do not feed them. Do not allow them to follow you or stray from their herd. They are working.
- If you go with a dog, always keep it on a leash.
- Don't leave a trail. Collect all your waste, including organic waste. Nature is not a dumping ground.
- Act with prudence. Plan your route well, take everything you need and make sure it is adapted to your physical capacity.
