We start from Nueva taking the AS-340 road, which we will not leave until practically the end of the route, and quickly begin to climb the first ramps as we change the orientation of the route in an east-west direction, to enter the valley between the Sierra del Mazuco and the Sierra Cueva Negra. We continue to Llamigu where the road becomes more winding and the gradient increases to reach the Alto del Torno pass.

We then descend to Rinsena and tackle the climb to the Collado de Igena, which is gentler and shorter than the previous one, to continue along the valley and then negotiate small hills that, in a very marked north-east-south-west direction, take us towards Corao.

Once in Corao we join the AS-114 road and, after a short distance of 1.2 km, we leave it at Sotu Cangues to cross the river Güeña and take the road to Cuadonga/Covadonga that will take us to Cangues d'Onís/Cangas de Onís.

Cangues d'Onís/Cangas de Onís, as well as having a formidable atmosphere, offers a very interesting visit in which you cannot miss the Roman Bridge, in reality a medieval bridge but with an undeniable charm or the chapel of the Santa Cruz, built on an ancient dolmen and which housed the Cross of Victory.

Respect the direction of traffic on urban stretches.
