The route begins in the Plaza del Ganado de L'Infiestu. After enjoying the Indian architecture and the atmosphere of the capital of Piloña, take Calle Covadonga in an easterly direction. Before reaching the main road, a turn-off to the right on the PI-5 leads placidly towards the village of Cardes.

Crossing Cardes and, after leaving the Social Centre behind, the route becomes more intimate, passing through the neighbourhoods of El Tarandiellu and El Casar. Here the asphalt gives way to a forest track that requires an extra effort but is rewarded with the coolness of the forest.

The ascent culminates at the La Tayada pass, a natural viewpoint dotted with huts that invites a brief respite before beginning a vertiginous and panoramic descent towards Porciles.

The descent leads to Espinaréu, one of the ethnographic jewels of Asturias. After crossing the bridge over the river of the same name, the sight of its century-old granaries begins to appear. The route continues along the PI-4 for two kilometres until it reaches the turn-off to Lozana, where a concrete track challenges cyclists with its steep gradient.

After crossing the village of Lozana and passing through San Martín, the route descends to connect with the AS-254. The final stretch is a delight for the senses: you have to take a detour to join the Senda de la Peridiella. This path runs parallel to the course of the river La Marea, offering 3.5 km of gentle pedalling under the shade of the riverside vegetation.

Before closing the circle, the route passes by the emblematic Sanctuary of the Cave, a place of great popular devotion, and the recreational area located there, to enter L'Infiestu again and complete this unforgettable cycling day.

In the rainy season there may be muddy areas.

Mostly agricultural tracks, roads and paths.
