The circular route begins at the Coto Bello viewpoint, which is accessed from Corigos by a road in good condition and which has been a stage finish in the Vuelta a España.

From the viewpoint we take the track that ascends towards the radio and television signal repeater, from where we can see the Murias valley, as well as Cuitu La Texera (558 m), one of the objectives of the route, and the imposing mass of Peña Mea to the northeast.

We continue along the edge of the ridge, with spectacular aerial views over the valley, descending gently along a wide track through pine groves to reach Collá Fogares and, from there, to reach a second pass where the track begins to ascend towards Cueto la Nozala, and then to Collá Conforcos, the antechamber to La Texera peak, which can be reached by following the path through pine trees, although to reach the highest part we have to leave the bicycle on the path and walk the last few metres. The views are well worth it.

The return is by going back along the same path to the cueto, descending in a northerly direction. Throughout this area it is common to come across livestock, horses, cows, herds of goats, and sometimes mastiffs that watch over them and look after them. Dogs are used to people, and as long as the animals are not harassed or provoked they are not usually a problem.
