Continuing along the route, we leave Sobrefoz in the direction of San Xuan/San Juan de Beleño along the local road, passing the viewpoints of Peña Soberu and the Park on the way, which offer magnificent views of the surrounding area, to reach the capital of the council where, at the entrance, we can find the Ponga Nature Park Interpretation Centre.

From San Xuan/San Juan de Beleño, take the local road to the Collada Llomena pass (998 m), and less than four kilometres further on you will come to the crossroads to Les Bedules, a highly recommended place to visit for its spectacular views over the Beyos Gorge and some of the great peaks of the Picos de Europa National Park, which can be reached along a cemented track of approximately one kilometre.

Returning to the main route, you reach the high point and viewpoint of Collada Llomena, from where the descent begins towards the village of Viegu, and from there, to Puente Vidosa where it connects with the Beyos Gorge. The last section runs along the N-625 road, parallel to the river Sella, to reach Cangues d'Onís/Cangas de Onís, the starting point of this two-stage route.
