Continuing along the route, you set off from Sobrefoz towards San Xuan/San Juan de Beleño along the local road, passing the Peña Soberu and Parque viewpoints along the way, which offer magnificent views of the surrounding area, before reaching the council’s main town where, at the entrance, you’ll find the Ponga Natural Park Interpretation Centre.

From San Xuan/San Juan de Beleño, take the local road towards the Collada Llomena pass (998 m), and less than four kilometres further on you’ll find the junction leading to Les Bedules, a place well worth visiting for its spectacular views over the Los Beyos gorge and some of the great peaks of the Picos de Europa National Park, reached via a concrete track approximately one kilometre long.

Returning to the main route, you reach the Collada Llomena pass and viewpoint, from where the descent begins towards the village of Viegu, and from there to Puente Vidosa, where the route joins the Los Beyos Gorge. The final stretch follows the N-625 road, running parallel to the River Sella, to reach Cangues d’Onís/Cangas de Onís, the starting point of this two-stage route.
