Itinerary that covers the southern part of the council visiting some of its most representative elements.
The route departs from Villayón, capital of the council of the same name, heading south towards the Alto de Los Cándanos, and from there approaches the cowboy village of Busmente, where a little further on the route turns off, but not before taking the 150 m road after the junction to the mill of Pímpano, a beautiful example of local architecture related to water, and which also has a small waterfall and a cave in the vicinity.
Continue north towards the village of Oneta through some beautiful open landscapes, and when you reach the village you can visit the Genaro mill and the Cascadas de Oneta Natural Monument, the latter taking a gravel track of approximately one kilometre in length.
Continuing along the route, we descend towards the Navia and reach the Arbón reservoir, a well-known place for water sports and fishing, and from where we can access the fertile plain of Arbón, famous for its Asturian faba bean plantations. After a little more than two kilometres along the reservoir, the ascent begins, which placidly returns to the starting point in Villayón.
