We leave the fishing village of Luarca/Ḷḷuarca on the N-634 towards Navia. We will cross the coastal rasa, a very pleasant route with meadow landscapes and hardly any gradient, which will take us to the Barayo Partial Nature Reserve, where we can leave the bike in the car park on the beach and walk to the viewpoint. At its mouth, the river Barayo forms an estuary of great natural value and scenic quality that is not to be missed.
We resume our journey to Puerto de Vega, where we will make another obligatory stop, as it has a beautiful fishing port lined with typical fishermen's houses, manor houses and houses of indianos.
We continue along the NV-2 road and before reaching Navia, we will take a detour to reach the Monolito viewpoint, from where there is a magnificent view of the Navia estuary. We will pass through the town of Navia, and once we have crossed the estuary, the track will take us to the Cape of San Agustín, which offers spectacular views of the Bay of Biscay. Here we find the lighthouse of San Agustín and the original 17th century chapel of the same name.
We continue our journey along secondary roads that run along the coast. At the entrance to A Caridá we take the FR-1 road to El Porto/Viavélez, where it is worth visiting the fishing port and the El Porto viewpoint. The next town that the track takes us to is Tapia, one of the most beautiful and touristy fishing villages in western Asturias.
We continue along local roads very close to the coast, with spectacular views and several viewpoints and beaches, until we reach As Figueiras, a beautiful village from where we can contemplate the nature reserve of the Eo estuary. From Figueras we will continue on to Castropol, surrounding an inlet of the estuary of great scenic beauty. Our route ends in this pretty village.

Caution with the traffic towards the beaches in summer.
