Discover the most natural Asturias by bus: new routes to the coast and protected landscapes.
The Government of the Principality of Asturias, in collaboration with the Asturias Transport Consortium (CTA), is doubling the number of shuttles this summer in order to reach different natural areas and beaches in comfort. The service has been in operation since 1 July and, depending on the line, ends on 31 August, 8 September or 13 October. In total there will be 31 routes serving 28 councils, and all routes are included in the CONECTA Card.

News summer 2025:
In Llanes, two circular lines connected to each other were put into operation from 1 July to 8 September:
- Line 1: with destination to different beaches and towns such as Porrúa, Celoriu, Pancar or Valmori, 18 daily departures from 10:00 to 20:00 h.
- Line 2: links Nueva, Posada and Meré, ideal for reaching the Camín Encantáu trail, 6 departures a day.
A new route in Muros de Nalón, between San Esteban and Aguilar Beach, operating from 1 July to 31 August:
- Five daily frequencies, coordinated with RENFE services, to extend the line to Pravia and Grado.
From Grau/Grado, there is a new weekly service to Aguilar Beach, operating from 1 July to 31 August:
- The shuttle will leave the Moscona capital every Monday at 10:30 am and return at 6:00 pm.
In Taramundi, new connections every weekend to Bres and Os Teixóis, running from 1 July to 13 October:
- Six services to Bres.
- Five services to Os Teixóis.
- Connections to A Veiga/Vegadeo, connecting with the shuttles to the beaches of Arnao and Penarronda and the towns of Castropol, As Figueiras and Tapia.
Reinforcement of lines and connections
The connections between Ribadesella/Ribeseya, Arriondas/Les Arriondes and Cangues d'Onís/Cangas de Onís are reinforced, with a dozen daily frequencies with departures every hour, thus facilitating the connection in Cangues d'Onís/Cangas de Onís with the lines that go to the Royal Site and the Covadonga Lakes. In operation from 1 July to 8 September.
Cudillero continues to have a shuttle service that facilitates access to the town centre from 1 July to 8 September. The Lluces, Llastres, Colunga and La Isla shuttle service will be running again from 1 July to 8 September, as well as the shuttle service from Villaviciosa to Rodiles Beach and Tazones, from 1 July to 13 September.
From Avilés and Lluanco/Luanco, several routes were enabled to access the Cabo Peñas area, one connecting Avilés with Xagó beach in Gozón and the other offering new services between Lluanco/Luanco and Verdicio, with stops at Bañugues beach and Cabo Peñas itself. In operation from 1 July to 8 September.
Lines to protected areas
The lines to access the facilities, routes and places of interest of the seven Biosphere Reserves, improve their programming to reinforce services at the times with the highest demand and will be operational until 13 October.
From Saturday 6 September, these services will be free of charge until all available places are taken. The free operation calendar includes the 6th, 7th, 8th, 13th, 14th, 20th, 21st, 27th and 28th of September, as well as the 4th, 5th, 11th, 12th and 13th of October.
Río Eo, Oscos and Terras de Burón Biosphere Reserve, the new summer line links A Veiga/Vegadeo and Tapia.
Natural Park of Fuentes del Narcea, Degaña and Ibias, it has a transport service that leaves from the town of Courias and goes to Monesteriu d'Ermu.
Somiedo Natural Park, the villages of El Vaḷḷe/Valle del Lago, Alto de la Farrapona, Viḷḷar de Vildas and Santa María del Puertu, also have connections from La Pola this summer.
Parque Natural de las Ubiñas-La Mesa, all expeditions will depart from Oviedo/Uviéu, with 11 daily frequencies, 5 of which reach the Museum of Prehistory and there is also a connection between Caranga Baxu and Bárzana.
Inthe Redes Natural Park, a new route between La Pola Llaviana/Pola de Laviana and Caliao has been put into operation, providing easy access to the Los Arrudos gorge route. Services on the La Pola Llaviana/Pola de Laviana to Soto line have been extended to facilitate access to the Ruta del Alba. On the other hand, the line connecting La Pola Llaviana/Pola de Laviana with El Campu (Caso) reaches Bezanes and Pendones to facilitate access to the route to Brañagallones.
Parque Natural de Ponga, a circular line with origin and destination in Cangues d'Onís/Cangas de Onís offers the possibility of accessing different sites such as the Olla de San Vicente in Amieva, the Interpretation Centre of the Parque Natural de Ponga or different routes.
In thePicos de Europa National Park, the access plan to the Royal Site and Covadonga Lakes and the special service connecting Arenas with the Cares Route, Bulnes, Tielve, Sotres and Pandébano will be operational.
Other services
In addition, the Asturias Transport Consortium will maintain its offer of connections with different facilities such as Asturias Airport, high-speed railway stations, owl services and events with a large number of people.
