A tombolo connects the beach to the islet of El Rego
Pormenande Beach is a small, exceptionally beautiful cove, less than 200 metres long and composed of boulders and gravel. Despite being stony, it is very safe, with moderate waves and sheltered from the wind.
The islet of El Rego stands out to the right of the beach and can be reached from the shore via a small tombolo. It is the main beach in the council capital, A Caridá, and is therefore busier than other beaches in the area.
It can be reached from the village of El Porto/Viavélez.
