Angula Gastronomic Festival

This gastronomic festival is the only one in Asturias dedicated exclusively to elvers. It is held on the first weekend in March, over three days, and has been held for more than thirty years.

This unique festival is centred on a product closely linked to Asturian fishing culture, specifically in the area at the mouth of the River Nalón, where there has always been an elver (baby eel) of exceptional quality.

Moreover, in the fishing ports overlooking the sea in this part of Asturias, there is a great culture of all kinds of seafood dishes, but above all they have a total mastery of the glass eel as far as culinary aspects are concerned.
