International Naviega Coast Crossing

Already in its second edition, this popular walk acquired the category of international, and from the third it became the perfect occasion for an approach to the many tourist and leisure options offered by the council of Navarre. Moreover, due to the massive attendance, it entered the Guinness Book of Records, where its remarkable participation and uniqueness were valued.

The International Naviega Coast Crossing runs through places of great beauty, including beaches such as Barayo and Frexulfe, and fishing villages such as Puerto de Vega. With an average participation of 2,000 people - some years reaching 4,000 registered participants - it attracts thousands of people from Asturias and abroad every year.

Likewise, the attractive route of the walk makes this event a benchmark in the field of hiking. So much so that many groups from other communities such as Galicia, León, Cantabria and Madrid are delighted to take part in this trekking event, which also attracts participants from other countries such as Argentina, Mexico and Portugal.

The Costa Naviega International Crossing is usually held on the second or third Sunday in June.
