International Longboard Surf Festival Salinas

With over fifteen years of history, it is the most traditional and prestigious festival in Europe, and it is currently among the top three in the world. It was also the first in Asturias to combine sports and leisure activities.

Although the origin and essence of this celebration are sports-related, every day of the festival is an ideal moment to enjoy not only surfing but also the spectacular natural environment of Salinas, as well as other complementary activities such as concerts, screenings, adapted surfing, or children's workshops.

The festival is deeply rooted in the rich surfing and sports tradition of Salinas and its beach, which have been pioneers in the practice of this sport in northern Spain.
