Stuffed Peppers Festival

It is a unique festival as it is the only event dedicated to stuffed peppers in Asturias, with a long tradition of forty years.

In addition to the gastronomic events themselves, which are the essence of the festival, there is an extensive programme of cultural events. The celebration lasts several days, during which the 'Pregón de los Pimientos Rellenos' (Stuffed Peppers Proclamation) is presented and the Golden Pepper is awarded, as well as concerts, folkloric performances, a stuffed pepper competition, theatrical performances, a second-hand market, Asturian songs, football, bowling, children's games, etc.

In short, a festival that connects with the culture of the mining basin of cultivating the culinary art and the exaltation of friendship around a healthy table and always ready to surprise.
