Fair of Ascension Day

The Fair of Ascension Day in Oviedo/Uviéu, is now a classical venue among livestock fairs and is one of the most important competitions in Asturias.

In the middle of spring, the capital of Asturias displays all its attractions and a grand Asturian market is put in place in the square of the Cathedral for the fair. It has the traditional Asturian atmosphere, in a strategic location with the grand historical value and marvellous beauty of the heart of the historical quarter of the city.

Parallel to the livestock fair and the Asturian market, the area of the Paseo de la Losa has an extensive interactive space with exhibitions, musical performances and other cultural activities, which attract thousands and thousands of people.
