Ascension Fair

The Ascension Fair in Oviedo/Uviéu is already a classic event as far as livestock fairs are concerned, being one of the most important events in Asturias.

In the middle of spring, the Asturian capital displays all its attractions, and on the occasion of this fair, it sets up a large Asturian market in the cathedral square, with all the traditional Asturian atmosphere, in a strategic place of great historical value and beauty, in the heart of the historic centre of the city.

Parallel to the livestock fair and the Asturian market, the area of the slab hosts a large interactive space for exhibitions, musical performances and other cultural activities, which attract thousands and thousands of people.

All these activities add to the atmosphere of the capital and its surroundings.
