The following day, August 22nd, the pilgrimage of San Timoteo takes place. In the morning, firecrackers are set off to wake up the town. The different groups prepare their supplies and everyone heads to the chapel of San Timoteo.
The chapel is located in the so-called Campo de San Timoteo. The pilgrims go accompanied by bagpipe groups, dressed in "chambrón" and with a loaf of bread hanging from their necks.
Once they arrive at the chapel, a mass is celebrated and the saint is taken out to an exterior chapel. After the simple ceremony, the pilgrim's lunch begins in the fields surrounding the chapel.
