Visit Asturias by boat
Regular line ships arriving in Asturias do so at the Port of El Musel, located six kilometres from the city centre of Gijón/Xixón, and which is one of the most important port facilities in the North of Spain.
Thanks to its location, large draughts and sheltered waters, El Musel allows the entry and stay of all types of large tonnage ships, including tourist cruise ships - which dock at the Muelle de la Osa - as well as hosting the city's fishing fleet and specialising in bulk traffic, cement, containers, iron and steel products, etc.
