Festival Intercélticu d'Avilés y Comarca (Avilés and Region Inter-Celtic Festival)

The Avilés and Region Interceltic Festival, one of the most important and representative of Asturias, is a great Celtic festival. Every year it hosts folkloric and musical groups, as well as delegations from different countries where Celtic culture has roots and presence. Events of all kinds, in which there is no lack of crafts, art, sport or leisure activities literally take over the city of Avilés and its region, highlighting the identity, uniqueness and strength of the Celtic culture in this geography of the Atlantic Arc.

Dozens of events, shows, theatre, exhibitions, parades, gastronomic days in which cider is also present, traditional markets and all kinds of exhibitions about Celtic culture are the protagonists of these days of summer in Avilés and Asturias.

The uses and customs of the Celts are laid bare more than ever, to the delight and satisfaction of the thousands of people who take part in the festival, during all the days it is held.
