- Title Ribadedeva
- Address Locality: Pimiango
- Days Days: March
- Type Type: Festival of Touristic Interest of the Principality of Asturias
It is an original celebration in Pimiango, joined by the residents of Ribadedeva and also people who come from other parts of Asturias and from outside.
The festival is currently of a religious nature and is dedicated to the martyrs Saint Emeterius and Saint Celedonius.
It consists of a pilgrimage from the village of Pimiango to the Hermitage of San Emeterio. It is a walk of over two kilometers through an exceptionally beautiful landscape where you will encounter the Pindal Cave (World Heritage Site), the San Emeterio lighthouse (the easternmost in Asturias), the Monastery of Tina, and the most coastal stretch of the Camino de Santiago.
The festival, which includes the traditional offering of the "ramu" (flower bouquet) and its auction, culminates with a countryside tour - the only one in the municipality - where you can enjoy the music of bagpipe bands, performances by folk groups, as well as cider and typical Asturian food.
