Interceltic Festival of the West

The Interceltic Festival of the West, held in Tapia during the first half of August, is one of the musical highlights of the Asturian summer along the coast. In addition to the natural charm of the town of Tapia and its excellent summer atmosphere, this event adds a cultural and lively touch that makes it one of the major events in Asturias during this time.

An impressive lineup of folk music groups, both local and international, as well as bagpipe bands and other activities related to Celtic culture, fill the summer in Tapia with festivities and fun moments. All of this, with the added ingredient of a medieval market and a town fully engaged in its festival. And to top it off, the Cantabrian Sea provides its winds and foams to ensure everything runs smoothly.
