Festivity of San Pedrín de la Cueva

The festival of San Pedrín is a classic event in the Asturian summer. Due to the characteristics of this festival, it can be said that it is a perfect example of a balanced fusion between nature, culture and sport.

San Pedrín de la Cueva is well known for its famous procession, in which the saint is taken from the chapel where he is usually found to a natural cave, where mass is celebrated in Asturian.

The festive atmosphere is complete: bagpipe bands, choral concert, typical gastronomy and to round off the whole festive programme, verbena, folk music, as well as other recreational and sporting activities such as the motocross race, well known nationally and even internationally.
