Visits in Ribadesella:

• Tour of the birthplace of Agustín Argüelles, a leading figure in the drafting of the 1812 Constitution.

• Explanation of local festivals and traditions, including the International Descent of the Sella, declared a Festival of International Tourist Interest.

• A walk around Santa Marina beach, with an explanation of the houses of the indianos.

• A description of the migratory phenomenon in Ríosella, especially to Cuba, and a mention of the sailing ship Habana-Bergantín.

• Visit to the church of Santa María Magdalena, where there are mural paintings by the Uría-Aza brothers.

• Information on the history of the port of Ribadesella up to the 18th century, including references to whaling and the process of urban expansion.

• Explanation of the medieval origins of the town, known as Puebla de Aguilar.

• Visit to the basilica of Santa María del Conceyu, in Gothic style, and the Gastañaga palace, an example of medieval noble architecture preserved in Asturias.
