Didactic Classroom of the Asturian Pre-Romanesque of La Cobertoria

Housed in a unique building, the classroom has been conceived as an eminently didactic and informative piece of cultural equipment, with panels arranged thematically in four sections, adapting to the interior layout of the building itself: introduction to the classroom, the kingdom of Asturias, Asturian architecture, Santa Cristina de Lena, and Santa Cristina de Lena. It also has several multimedia applications, in which the visitor can expand the information contained in the panels and observe computer graphics reconstructions of Santa Cristina de Lena, Santa María del Naranco and San Miguel de Lillo. It also has a small hall, which can be used for small seminars, meetings or courses related to the subject.

Finally, it acts as a tourist information centre for the council of Lena and the Principality of Asturias, and for pre-Romanesque Asturian architecture in particular.
