Forge Museum

Located in the urban centre of A Caridá, this private collection housed in the family home of Ángel Fernández López brings together the works of this artist born in 1920. The collection consists of various pieces, such as a set of iron and glass chairs and table (1980), an iron tree with snake (1972), an iron, marble and glass console table (1973), an iron Asturian granary (1972), an iron corn case (1973), and several iron lamps (1980).

All of them were handmade in his forge. Here he heated the iron and with a hammer on the iron anvil he would shape them into authentic works of art.
