The Vegarredonda Mountain Refuge is situated in the sheepfold of the same name, in the Western Massif (or Covadonga Massif), within the Picos de Europa National Park.

Situated at an altitude of 1,460 m, it has 68 beds, spread across three buildings. It was built in 1987, although there was previously a small refuge situated slightly higher up than the current one, which served as a munitions store during the Spanish Civil War.
When the warden is not present, the refuge has 24 beds with mattresses and water available nearby. Emergency radio.
Telephone service hours are from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.
