The Campo de San Roque in Tineo/Tinéu hosts the festivities of San Roque, the most important in the council and whose main day is 16 August.

The origins of the San Roque festivities go back to the foundation of the chapel in the Campo de San Roque in the 14th century and the pilgrims who, on their way to Santiago de Compostela, stopped to pay homage to the saint.
