Cadavedo / La Ribeirona Beach

A tourist spot in an old whaling centre

Once a whaling centre in the Middle Ages, it is now an unquestionable seaside tourist spot. This pebble and sand beach, which takes its name from the nearest town, spreads out in the shape of a shell in a country setting.

The beach is windy and the swell reaching the coast is moderate.

Access by car is easy, via a road from Cadavedo. It also has a spacious car park. This easy access means that it is very crowded in summer.

It forms part of the Western Coastline Protected Landscape.
