In the footsteps of the great dinosaurs
If there is one thing that defines La Griega beach, it is its dinosaur footprints. To the east of the beach, a path just over half a kilometre long leads visitors to some of the largest footprints discovered to date anywhere in the world.
Otherwise, it is a golden-sanded beach where the River Libardón flows into the sea, and it is very popular. It has good facilities and a campsite situated about 200 metres from the beach. At low tide, natural pools form, making it an ideal place to visit with children.
