La Griega Beach

On the trail of the great dinosaurs

If there is anything that defines La Griega Beach, that will be its dinosaur footprints. At the eastern end of this beach, there is a path of just over half a kilometre leading to some ichnites, the largest discovered to date in all the world.

It is a much frequented, golden sandy beach where the River Libardón flows into the sea. It boasts good amenities and a camping site located about 200 metres from the beach. Natural pools are formed at low tide, which make it an ideal spot to visit with children.
