A vast stretch of sand that attracts beachgoers, surfers and anglers
Los Quebrantos is the beach at L’Arena. It stretches for over 800 metres and is connected to Playón de Bayas. Together they cover more than 3 kilometres and form the longest stretch of sand in Asturias, ideal for strolling, sunbathing, fishing or catching waves.
This beach is formed at the mouth of the River Nalón and is accessible from the town, whether by car, on foot or by bike, as a cycle lane has been provided.
Los Quebrantos is made up of dark sand and is protected by a system of dunes. In the more urban part, there is a promenade.
