Info
San Antolín is an extensive white sandy beach, subject to strong waves, which is located next to the Romanesque church of San Antolín de Bedón and is visible from the Cantabrian motorway. It has a large car park next to a viewpoint with spectacular views.
This sandy area is an ideal place for sports such as surfing and fishing. In fact, it is the mouth of the Bedón, a trout river frequented by anglers. Bungee jumping is also practised on the viaduct that flanks the beach. Considered highly dangerous for bathing due to its exposure to strong waves, it is very popular with surfers.
It has good road access from the A8 motorway at Naves.
