It is a small cove of fine gravel, located sheltered from the breakwater of the port of San Esteban and the cliffs of the coastal rasa.

The beach heart of a seaside town
To the west of the beach are the rocky outcrops of El Garruncho and El Focarón, with similar characteristics, and accessible at low tide.
The beach, with road access, is located in the vicinity of the saltwater pools, unique in Asturias, and at the beginning of the Route of the Viewpoints, which connects San Esteban with the beach of Aguilar, along the coastline.

- Weekends: 01/07 to 27/08 from 11:00 to 19:00 h.
If you travel with your pet you should know that...
- The access and presence of animals on the beach is prohibited from 01/05 to 30/09.
- Pets are allowed on the seafront and urban promenades, in the areas near the accesses to the beaches, provided that they are kept on a fixed leash of no more than one metre in length and, when necessary due to the characteristics of the animal, they must be muzzled.
