An interesting dune field bathed by strong waves
For bathers, Verdicio beach, also known as Tenrero, stands out above all for its strong waves, which break on the shore itself, and for the beauty of its surroundings, with dune vegetation and thick golden sand.
In addition, Verdicio is also home to some very important Lower Palaeolithic sites, as well as the castro site of El Cuerno, located on the hills overlooking the area of Cabo Peñas. To the right the beach is enclosed by a chain of islets.
It forms part of the Cape Peñas Protected Landscape.
