Opened in 1982, Grado Ethnographic Museum reflects different aspects of traditional peasant life and culture. The museum occupies an area of 500 square metres spread over two floors.
PERMANENT EXHIBITIONS
The permanent exhibition is divided into several areas that allow the visitor to learn about the traditional way of life in Asturias.
- Bread Culture , with spelt wheat, a threshing mill and water mill.
- The House, with its kitchen, benches, oven, etc.
- The Agricultural and Livestock Area: various tools and implements.
- Traditional Crafts: a forge, basket-making, a carpenter's workbench, etc.
TEMPORARY EXHIBITIONS
Temporary exhibitions are held every year in the House of Culture, such as "Spelt Wheat in Asturias".
