Ethnographic Museum of Quirós

The Ethnographic Museum of Quirós contains a large number of pieces and representative elements of everyday life that, in their day, constituted the way of life and feelings of the inhabitants of the region; among the different spaces that make up the museum, the reproduction of a Quirós house stands out, consisting of two floors in which the basic instruments and equipment of the traditional economy are exhibited.

Inside, the kitchen stands out, where the llar and its corresponding escanu, the lacena and the forno stand out, while the rest of the house is made up of the living room and the alcove; on the outside there is the antojana of the house, next to the workshop of the madreñeiru, as well as a typical fonte with duernu, which serves as a drinking trough, and tshabaorio, used as a wash house; The museum also has a reproduction of a small mountain stable, and throughout the museum there are exhibits of tools, objects and accessories traditionally used in the region.
