Display of traditional customs from Quirós

Quirós Ethnographic Museum displays many of the elements of ethnological interest that once formed part of the way of life and thinking of the inhabitants of the region.

The reproduction of a Quirós-style house stands out among the different areas that make up the museum. It consists of two floors exhibiting basic tools and equipment in the traditional economy of the region.

Quirós-style house: The kitchen stands out as an important indoor element, especially the open hearth and its corresponding bench-cum-table, larder and oven. The rest of the house comprises the living room and the bedroom.

Outside is the "antojana" or open area in front of the house, with the clog-making workshop and a typical fountain with trough and sink for washing clothes included.

The museum also features a reproduction of a small mountain stable.

Tools, objects and accessories used in the area are on display, scattered throughout the grounds.
