A museum on the Jurassic Period for the whole family

A unique museum in the form of a large three-toed dinosaur footprint, the Jurassic Museum of Asturias (MUJA) stands on a privileged spot on the coast of the Principality, 155 metres above sea level. It boasts one of the most comprehensive and educational exhibitions in the world on these fascinating reptiles.

It is located on San Telmo coastal plateau (Colunga), overlooking Llastres Harbour and La Griega Beach, which has an interesting site of sauropod footprints.

Nearly 2,500 square metres devoted to exhibits (reproducitons, skeletons, etc.) allow the visitor to discover the ages of the Earth and the way of life of these fantastic animals that populated the Asturian coast millions of years ago.
