Besullo Visitor Reception Centre. Alejandro Casona

The Visitor Reception Centre is dedicated to the figure of Alejandro Casona, the famous playwright of the Generation of '27 born in Bisuyu, and is located in the old schools of the village. The exhibition content of the Museum guides us, on the ground floor, through the history, traditions and customs of the local population, reveals its ethnographic and architectural wealth and gives us an overview of life in this rural village.

The upper floor is dedicated monographically to the literary figure of Alejandro Casona, with a chronological tour of his life and work. It contains original elements of the author and a wide sample of his works, emphasising his relationship and links with Bisuyu.

The Centre also has a small shop where you can buy handmade products made by the residents of Bisuyu and its parish. Cesteiros, ferreiros and torneiros offer visitors small handcrafted souvenirs of the tradition of basketry, forging and woodworking, which have been common in the area since time immemorial and which today still refuse to disappear.
