It is the main facility on the "The Lords of the Manor" Route, bringing together resources linked to land ownership systems, stately architecture and the noble families that have passed down their stately homes.
There are two other gateways to the River Navia History Park:

For over 1,500 years, castles, mansions, monasteries and bishoprics exercised control over life and territory. The legacy of the turbulent Middle Ages is still recognizable in the towers, walls and gates of the magnificent mansions dotting the River Navia History Park.
A way of life based on self-sufficiency developed in the shadow of these houses; a world that has left us a rich architectural, ethnographic and folk heritage.
The landscape was profoundly transformed; forests were plowed in the search for new farmland. A rich traditional cuisine emerged from simple produce, livestock breeding and hunting that still lingers on today.
