The Cabrales cave-exhibition displays the past and present of Cabrales cheese through guided tours that last about 45 minutes. Visitors will discover the history of Cabrales cheese.
The tour is divided into two parts, each lasting 20 minutes. The first takes place within a natural cave where both the process of making the cheese and the environment and lives of herders in the Picos de Europa are disclosed. The second part comprises an audio-visual projection showing how the cheese is made today in a cheese factory. The tour ends with a tasting.
