Butterflies of Somiedo

These beautiful and colourful but at the same time fragile lepidoptera are spread all over Asturias, from the coastal plains to the highest peaks of the Cantabrian mountain range, either flying or gliding, to our visual delight but also showing themselves as key individuals of the environmental complexity of the Asturian ecological niches.

Now you can approach this tiny and specialised world of arthropods in general in an easy and enjoyable way, visiting some of the best environmentally preserved sites in Europe, with short walks, in small groups (maximum 8 people) and in a responsible way. Come and see, feel and learn!

Comfortable shoes, hat or cap, sun cream, mackintosh, change of clothes, food and entomological equipment are recommended.

Approximate departure time: 9:00 h. This activity will be carried out with a minimum of 4 people. Departure from our clients' accommodation in the central area of Asturias (Oviedo, Gijón and Avilés).
