This recreational area is located next to the La Peñona viewpoint, at the foot of the mountain that gives it its name. It has stone tables and benches, a fountain and barbecues. Access is easy by car and there is a car park.
It can be accessed either from Somao, along the AS-233 road, taking a tarmac track once we reach La Calzada, or from Pravia, through the villages of Escoredo and Villafría. It is on the Los Miradores route by car.
